e-Business Vs e-Commerce


We have entered the Age of Internet. Often you might hear the phases like "Internet is power" and "Website is business" when discussing business on the Internet.

All successful E-Business and E-Commerce website demonstrated the same characteristics, they recognize the needs of their target audiences and match those needs with relevant content.

But the terms E-Business and E-Commerce often confused wiht one anotehr are different.

E-Commerce involves exchanges among customers, business partners and the vendor. For instance, a supplier interacts with a manufacturer, customers interact with sales representative and shipment provider interact with distributors.

E-Business on the other hand, is composed of same elements, but also involved operations that are handled within the business itself. For instance, production, development, corporate infrastructure and product management.

E-Business and E-Commerce have increased the speed and ease of business operation. Thus, competition is intense. Business must adjust constantly to new technologies, integrate latest and faster system and meet the needs of people around the business.

As more people begin using internet , the transition from brick-and-mortar business (businesses that have only a physical presence) to click-and-mortar businesses (businesses that have both an online and ad offline presence) is happening in all sectors of the economy.

The fact,E-Business and E-Commerce is unstoppable trends that will bring unprecedented success to companies embrace them self with latest Web technologies.
